the other day we were driving in the car and counterman saw a group of bicyclers;  I was afraid he was going to jump out to join them.

yesterday when I was playing tennis I got hit in the eye by a ball .  i don’t think that is what the expression  means  “keeping your eye on the ball”.

we were in a college bookstore and counterman picked up a  soccer hat for their team. He started talking about his soccer days when dustbunny2 says: “dad, did your school have a no cut policy?”

We wanted to go sailing but the water was so low it was on the bottom.

A long time ago (way before cell phones) ‘new york’ decided to

take the family on a canoe trip…he assured us that he knew everything

about it.

The stream dried up, we carried the canoe for miles until we finally

abandoned it and by that time we were completely lost.

Epitome and smiley (piglets at the time) were covered with mud, bites,

bruises and cuts and were hungry.  We were cold, it was getting dark,

and it started to rain…

Luckily, ‘new york’ had all that ‘knowledge’ or we might have really

been in trouble !!
