We were on a family trip and the first hotel we stayed at didn’t quite look like it did on the internet. Dustbunny 2 looked at the sign above the door said “see it is four star, the other star just fell off.”

Our family dressed up nicely to go to a brunch by boat. We were cruising along slowly enjoying the day. Then Counterman pushes the throttle full force and jumps a big wave that ends up dumping on my head. (So much for the hair do and the clothes.) I snap at him, telling him to slow down. We get to the restaurant and I put my shawl around me and he says, “So why didn’t you dry off with that? What was the problem?”
